Christmas. The day which our Saviour was born. It has always been my favourite day of the year. Haha not just because I get to receive gifts and to bless others too but it's the day where the world receive Hope. :-) And of cus the public holiday and all la... Hahaha. Oops.

And why is he born on this day? Why did God send him here? Love. It's because God loves us so much. So so much that He sent His son all the way to earth to save us all. Aww. How precious is that man.

Jesus is indeed the reason for the season. Hah. It can only be Him. :-)

What a year, 2011

What a year this year has been man. There's much to be thankful for. This year. The year 2011. This year has been a year filled with His Grace and Favour. A year that has been so good. Not because I am good. But because He is good.

It would be insane to list out everything that I'm thankful for this year. But here are just some significant ones that I am totally amazed by how amazing and how faithful this God of mine is.

Parents got saved and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. Truly, this is the most amazing thing one could ever ask for. :')
Good exam results that I think is totally by His Grace. It's really quite amazing how my weakest module, or the module that I have the least confidence in, and yet, it's the module that I got a distinction in. Not a single module failed. Wow Lord.
Get to serve and attend both Legacy youth camp and the Creative media camp. What a privilege and honour if you ask me. I'm glad and thankful that He chose me and use me for His glory. Nothing beats serving the King of kings and the Lord of Lords.
Having a closer relationship with my parents and family. Family time is always precious and important and I'm really glad that this family of mine gets closer and all. :-)
Got diagnosed with seizure lately. Not that I'm thankful for that, haha. But I am thankful for the fact that it's not life threatening and all. I've seen how fits can be dangerous and all so I'm really thankful for the fact that mine is not. And I believe that it can only be His protection and Love for me.

Looking back, 2011 has really been a year crowned with His goodness and His faithfulness. What a year, Lord. What a year. And I just know that as much as 2011 has been amazing, 2012 can only get better and it can only be even more amazing. I am excited for the next year. I am excited to see how faithful and how amazing my Jesus can be in my life again. :-)

How marvelous, how wonderful, is my Saviour's love for me.

These days have been days where I spend time embracing His never-ending Love for me. For you. For us all. :-)

As cliche as it might sound, who would have ever imagine that the creator of the heavens and the earth, the creator of this whole universe, would send His Son all the way down to tiny little earth, if you compare it with the universe, to die for us all, and pay for all our sins. I don't know bout you but that's true Love my friend.

Jon 3:16 has been the verse where most people can recite and have memorized from the bottom of their hearts. But I really love the Message bible's take on it.

"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him"

God came to help. To put this world right again. Wow. Love it. Our Jesus is One-of-a-kind man. Hah. Indeed He is.

And Christmas is just round the corner. My favourite time of the year. I don't know bout you but I'm Gonna bask in His Love for me. Now. :-) Hallelujah.

Creative media servers camp 2011!

And so, we're back from an awesome church camp man. Wow. What a camp this camp was I tell you. Of all the church camps I've been to, this has got to be the most relaxed camp. Went as a server. it was awesomely fun and amazing. Felt like a family la. Worship ministry. :) From the bus rides to the bonding sessions and fellowships to the random walkings. I love my ministry man.

Everyone told me before camp to have a list of expectations i want to receive from this camp. But honestly, I didn't really have much expectations. In fact, I remember telling Dione on Sunday, the day before camp, that I was actually suddenly feeling quite... like you know, mixed feeling about the camp and all. But O wells. now that it's over, I'm SO SO glad that i went for this camp and I feel so privileged to be able to attend this camp as well. :)

There's so much to share about this camp and all. But the thought of needing to wake up at 5.30am tmr makes me feel like keeping this entry short and sweet. Hah.

But I really enjoyed this camp alot. From the serving of different services, to the ministry huddle, to the free and easy moments, to the final night where most of us slept real late, at like 4-5am kinda thing, even to the bus rides to and fro Melaka. Everything was just so Grace filled and so in the flow. This camp is all about You Jesus. It's all about glorifying Your name and to just lift you up on high.

One thing that really hit me was that it reminded me all over again that serving Him has to be always at rest. It's never about serving Jesus when you feel like... you know, super not at rest and peace. When we serve, it HAS to be from rest.

Love how in ministering, the prayers that different pastors and leaders prayed over me were so in the flow and season of my life. Pastor Dan prayed over me that I will learn to just go with the peace and flow of God in my life. If I feel led by Him, I should just go for it since God will be the one performing. I only need to believe. Pastor Gabriel laid his hands on me and prayed over me that I will increase in my anointing and I will be used by God in even greater portions. Then Deacon Jack prayed for me in regards to going full time in church. Wow I tell you. It has to be God la. All these prayers were so in line with what I'm going through. Couldn't stop tearing after each of them prayed for me man. Hah. I was just so so touched and moved by how Jesus understands even my simplest desires and dreams. He always does. :)

So much more to share but I think I'll probably just keep it short. This camp has been amazing and I really am so honored and privileged to be able to attend and serve. I can't wait for the next one next year already man. Hah.

I just know that being back in SG will never be the same again. More of You Jesus. Less of me. It never was about me anyway. Always been about You. :)

And so, today I was reminded by God that I can never outgive Him. No matter how hard we try, no matter how much we give. He still will give, and have already given more than you. He gave Jesus Christ to be our Saviour. To be our redeemer. To save us all from our sins and shame. To claim us back to right where we belong. :-)

To have Jesus in our lives is to have everything already. He is our I am. He is your whatever that you need. :)

I don't know about you but these verses definitely encourages me much man. I mean like, knowing that whatever I give unto Jesus, whatever I give unto the Lord, it will be multiplied back to me in greater quality and quantity. That definitely spurs me on to want to sow even more into the kingdom of God man! Hah.

How great and how awesome He is. The one who will NEVER fail to bless us and to show us how much more He loves us each time we feel like it has stop. But the truth is, this Love has never once stop and it will never stop loving us. :) And with this Love of Christ, It is greater than all the trials and challenges that will come our way. All we gotta do is to lean on Him and to feed on Him.

I can go on and on and on about the love of Christ. This will never end. Hallelujah.

I was just browsing through some of my old pictures of my pre-NS trip to Japan. Man, what an amazing experience and country. There's so much to do there. So much sight-seeing that it's never ending.

Love the culture there too. Love the people being friendly and all, even though they always expect you to know how to speak Japanese. Always a language barrier there. Hah. At least now I know that if all else fail, find the nearest starbucks! Those workers there are trained to speak english! Or at least they will know a little english. :-)

One day I'll be back in Japan. I just know it. Amen.

Wisdom and Favour.

It's about having His Favour and His wisdom, that will put you at the right place
at the right time. So thankful for pastor's sermon on wisdom on 18th Sept.
Been asking God to increase me in those 2 areas daily.
And it's been amazing, for He's been faithful. :)

Lemme challenge you folks. Ask God for an increase in wisdom and favour before you start your day from tomorrow onwards. I'm sure it will never be the same ever again. Amen.

What a privilege, Lord. :) Somehow, after seeing each of them being dipped into the seawater after the pastor's prayer, I can't help but smile and just feel so happy. The joy of the Lord, you might add. But really. I am really happy for each and everyone of them. Now they all got middle name.

And so I've been a uni undergraduate for 4 weeks already. How amazing and how quickly time flew by I tell you. Even till now, there're still moments where I ask myself if this is really happening. Haha. Not that I am not enjoying it but... O wells.

This is indeed so different from polytechnics. No wonder they ask us to change out mindset all. It ain't gonna work if one still remains in the previous mindset. It's... unexplainable. Hah. I guess you will know when you reach this level. :) Hallelujah.

Been coming to school real early for the past few weeks now. Not that lessons are early but somehow or another, school seems to have a better environment and mood to revise/study/do assignment! I know right... It's weird for someone who lives 1 hour traveling time away to say that but really. I really do DO better in school. Talk about preference... Hah.

Anyway, I realize that the first thing that never fail to come to my mind each time I come to school is... Food. Haha. Food is ever so important man. Not that we have many choices of eating places here, but food is still important. If only I can have a proper awesome breakfast. Somehow it reminds me of church camps. Where each morning when you wake up, there will be rows and rows of food for you to savour. Hah!

And so, I was hospitalized for a day. Yup. 10 hours straight. 2pm till 10 plus pm. Did nothing the entire day except to sleep and to be poke by different kinda needles for different kinda test. Hah. Quite an experience I must add. But definitely something that I'm pretty sure any normal human being would never wanna go through.

So what happen? Honestly... Beats me either.

Fits / Epilepsy

What in the blue world is that? I know I know. When my parents told me that I had some sorta epilepsy outbreak, my first reaction was like, omg. That sounds like some skin disease or sth! Haha. But nah.

Fits / Epilepsy is actually quite simple and straight forward. Basically, its seizure. So when you watch films and they have people in spasm and all... Yeah. Just that this time round, it happen to me.

My first reaction when I actually woke up, or in the other term, gain back conscienceless, I felt perfectly fine... except for my left shoulder that hurts ALOT. It's prolly worse than the fits man I tell you. I use to do alot of things with my left hand. But for that particular morning, I didnt felt like myself man. O wells.

So that's how I end up in the hospital. If u ask me, the whole process of checkup and scans and xrays would only take about the most, 3-4 hours? what took them so long is the whole paper work process plus the number of people ahead of me in the A&E department. Insane I tell you. 35 people. Waiting time: 3 hr 27 mins.

Kinda makes me ponder if going through all that is worth it at all in the first place. Hah. So there you go.

But I want to end saying that I AM the healed of the Lord amen. Nothing can take away the fact that I am already healed when Christ bore all those on the Cross for me. Jesus is bigger than fits and shoulder aches/sprains. Thus, pain, be gone now in Jesus name. Amen.

Hello Hillsong Conference 2012!

Our beloved pastor, pastor Joseph Prince will be sharing the word of God at hillsong conference 2012!!! ALL the more I'm definitely going for it man! Haha. Must be a confirmation sign from Jesus. Just for me. :)

So blessed to be able to watch the entire portion of the moment online, where pastor Brian was just sharing with the congregation about the lineup for 2012's conference, which will be back at the Acer Arena. Talk about right place right time eh?

Apart from our pastor, the rest of the lineup looks amazing too!

Louie Giglio! Love this man of God. Such passion for Jesus and His indescribable Love for us. Each time I listen to his sermon, I can't help but to feel so loved by Jesus all over again. Really has a gift of expounding Jesus love. Showing us how much and how amazing God really love us all.

Joyce Meyer! Haha. Honestly, I've never really heard her teach or preach before but I've heard so much about her from friends. All the positive signs and all that. Plus we all know that she's a world renowned speaker and she spoke at Hillsconf before too! So... yeah. I'm quite excited to hear her too!

Steven Furtick! I have no idea who this man of God is but... after watching the live streaming of the conference earlier, in which pastor Brian Houston was just introducing this guy to the congregation. Pastor Brian call him a preaching machine! Haha. Plus the Hillsong Conference 2012 video shows a snippet of him preaching... I am convinced that this guy is indeed gonna be a preaching machine. :)

Of cus there's Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin! Great worshipper, song writers and worship leaders. I'm sure they will be there to lead worship and share a thing or two too.

Let's not forget the Hillsong team as well! Always so excellent in their craft and so inspiring. Most importantly, always so hungry for Jesus and to see Jesus be lifted high. As a result, lives are transformed. :)

Message of Perfect Love.

Know that even if one day, the world turn its back on you. Everyone seems to be against you for whatever reason. When you feel like there's really no love in anybody anymore. God is STILL FOR YOU. God is still with you and His love is still there with you. And know that's the best part of it all? God is God. He has the final say in our lives.

And I love what Cherri told me through whatsapp a couple of moments ago. Straightforward and powerful. Was just sharing with her about some stuff and she replied something that I thought is so worth sharing.

"Don't be conscience of your mistakes. Walk righteous knowing that you still have favor (with whoever or in whatever) despite all this. The supply of favor is always greater than the demand, or your mistakes."

We STILL have the favor of God despite our wrongdoings. It's never away from us. Let's focus on His favor and His love. It will always be greater.

Today, I was challenged alot. Emotionally. Mentally. Every way. But I learn that the more we're challenged by the devil, the more we should spend time with Jesus and His word. And so, I did that by just plugging into random worship songs. Just to remind myself of who He is and who I am to Him all over again. And I prayed in the spirit, like how pastor taught us.

Came up with some simple quotes that I tweeted.

"Your word says that it's still gonna be a good future. I'll stand by that. I'll live by that."

"I'm not very good. In fact, I am really quite lousy. But I have a God who's awesome and mighty and He lives in me. That changes everything."

"Perfect Love cast out all false evidence appearing real. God's perfect Love for us."

I don't know about you but those quotes above spoke to me alot. I've been meditating on those lines the entire day and boy am I changed by God's truths.

No matter what the circumstances or results might be, God has been to your future and it's GOOD. Nothing can ever seperate that from us. Our future's bright and His word is our light.

Everyone of us have weaknesses in life. Some might have more than the other. Let's simply put it this way. We are all not perfect. We CAN NEVER be perfect anyway. In fact, I will go as far as saying that yes. I think I'm really lousy sometimes. But you know what? All these doesn't really matter anymore when we know that we have a awesome God and saviour living IN US. Yup. That changes everything. Victory is now ours. Weaknesses are now no longer and issue because when we are weak, then HE IS STRONG. When we let go and let God, then He will take over and make ALL THINGS GOOD. How awesome is that?

Sometimes we just fear alot. We fear because we are worried. We are worried because we fear. Like what pastor Benjamin taught us, fear simply is just false evidence appearing real. They are and will ALWAYS be a false thing. The bible says that His perfect love cast out ALL fear. ALL FEAR. I'm very sure that includes my fears and your fears. Trust in His unfailing Love. It will never fail us. It will only lift us higher than our fears.

I love days where I spend the entire day with God. Just some Father son time. We are never alone, folks. He is always right there with us.

And tonight, I'm reminded of this verse again. To be reminded that no matter how uneven or unfair the situation is, my God is STILL BIGGER. His words are STILL STRONGER. His words says that all things will work out for good the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

We are that bunch of people. We His beloveds qualify!

So thankful for this verse. :)

It just occurred to me that for the first time ever, after so so so many church camps that I've been to, it's the first time I'm going as a server and not a camper!

Going to camps as a camper is really good and all I know that. Each camps I've been to always gets better and stronger in anointing. It never fails to change my life. But I mean like, Whoa! God is faithful man. I remember in one of the previous camps, I told Jesus that I wanna serve for a church camp one of these days. it's always been something that I want to serve God in and it has always been my desire. I remember specifically told Jesus about that and look at His amazing faithfulness now! I am totally in awe man! Never belittle our prayers and dreams man. Tell the Lord about it and in due time, He will make it come to past. :)

It's all about His faithfulness. It's all about His grace. It's all about His favor. It's all about Him.

100% Jesus, none of me. I love it.

This year's Legacy camp will be yet another milestone in my life and I know and I know that the days ahead are gonna be exciting and awesome. Can't wait!!!!

We were just sitting around by a table, chatting about the most random stuff that could ever happen at that particular moment ; the future.

It got me wondering how amazing it is that, us believers, have the kind of HOPE that never fail. We know and we know that our future's in God's Hands and it's good! God has been to our future and He came back to tell us that it is an amazing one. :) I don't know about you but I'm feeling SOOO much assured with that.

Cars... Houses... Where to live in the future... Even what kinda family to expect in the future. Hah. I know I'll never admit it face to face but, I actually enjoy talking about this kinda things. Heh. Never fail to stir up the excitement I have for my future. :)

And so, Try brought me to this place called Ippodu. Wow, is the word to describe. Apart from the fact that it's located right at the heart of mandarin gallery, since I always have this perception that restaurants at mandarin gallery are all awesome, It really has some decent food to offer.

I know it's famous for its ramen but we weren't really a ramen kinda person eh. So we had everything but ramen! Hah.

The Tamago's really good. Try thinks that Itacho's better but I beg to differ. O wells.

I can see myself coming here more often in time to come. :)

The end of a temp job.

And so, I finally ended my little temp job phase. What a learning experience, I might add. Really. Even though the pay might not be even close to what a Diploma holder should be getting, but one thing I'm definitely rich in, and that's experience. And I always believe that experience is sth that CANNOT be bought. So for that, I'm richer.

First with, J.D. Power. A research company. Friendly colleagues. Learnt a heck load of Excel! Haha. I can say that I am ALOT better in Excel now than before. Thanks to this little temp job of mine.

Then, with Barclays. Barclays is actually, honestly, a pretty good place to work in. Cool job. World renowned bank. Awesome working environment. Classy work building. I guess the only down side it the little working hours I suppose. But nonetheless, I enjoyed my temp work there. At least now I can say that I have worked in a bank before! Haha.

And so, I choose to believe that they got me this for a farewell gift. ;)

I am so blessed. Really. Words cannot describe how blessed I feel right now. :) The best part of it all is, It's all by His Grace. Totally undeserved. Totally unmerited. Wow. I am truly blown away.

Life changing ice lemon tea! REALLY very nice! So different from Singapore's. Now that I drank this awesome packet of drink, Singapore's version is really lousy. Haha.

People often fall victim to emotions. Emotions are real. Emotions are practical. Emotions make or break a person's day. Emotions is actually... quite fragile.

Maybe that's why we CANNOT let emotion to get the better of us. It results in disastrous moments and situations, which often accompanied by words of anger or disappointment.

Instead, our eyes should always be fixed upon Jesus and Jesus only. He is the true source of our life. The true decider of our future, in this case, our day.

I like my Saturdays. It's mostly spent in the house of God. Worshiping, feeding on the word, preparing for soundcheck, etc.

It's times like these that proves crucial and different from the people of the world. A Saturday night would probably be one of those nights where they get wasted and all. But we choose to worship and serve the King of kings. We choose to be in the House of the Lord where lives are transformed from glory to glory.

We are born to reign in this life. We are more than conquerers. Conquerers are great enough, but the bible tells us that we are MORE than it. Being a MORE than conqueror, circumstances stand no chance man. Yes, it might seem to be winning. But no, it does NOT have the final say in your life. God has. And God's final say is that you are gonna reign in this life.

I am gonna reign in this life. Challenges might seem big but my God is bigger. Somehow I'm always reminded to say this each time I thought about a big God.

Don't be afraid of how big your challenges or trials are. Show them how big your God is.

And yup. We have a big God that loves us. Who can be against us? When the creator of this universe bore His son on the cross for you, that's when victory has been won. Fight from victory, folks. Not for it. You are ALREADY victorious!

I like how God is showing me each day that how He is my provider. My lacks are temporal. His Love and Grace and Supply is eternal, and I'm gonna run with that.

Okay on the side note, I've been craving alot for prawns quite recently. The barbequed kinda prawns.

And so, I casted my first ever vote today. Strangely, it doesn't feel too exciting for me. When I was walking with my family to the polling station, which is located in the primary school opposite my house, it kinda feels like we're just gonna do something as a family. No significant moments kinda thing? O wells.

Expected a really long queue since we went at 12pm. But to our surprise, it was just a 5 mins affair! Walked into the school with people directing us where to go and stuff. Started my stop watch the minute I enter the school. Stopped it when I left the school premises and the clock clearly stated "5:04:23". I mean, I knew it was gonna be fast since the crowd isn't there yet but 5 mins!? Seriously? Hmmm.

As usual, people started to discuss who they vote for and stuff after they are done voting. Could hear families debating on whether their vote really matters or not. Typical moments I guess.

So there is my first vote. More to come? Maybe.

It's been a long while since I last had that feeling. That feeling of homecoming. Felt it earlier when I was in the car. That warm feeling. Hah. O wells.

And so today, Try went off to HK for 3 weeks! Mission? Kind of I suppose, since it's not exactly going there to play and shop. But like I was telling her, sure got chance to shop and play one.

When Ruth and Auntie was discussing about heading there in week 3, I so wanted to tag along man! Haha. I mean like, I've never been in HK before. What a golden opportunity right!? You'd bet.

God is good. He doesn't make your dreams come true. He over exceeds it and give you so much MORE abundantly.

That's the style of my God. :)

Switchfoot 2011!

And so, yesterday was the day where Switchfoot finally arrived and had their concert at our very own Rock Auditorium! Been waiting for this day for quite awhile now, since the last time we all met, it was about a couple of months back? Yeah. Back then it seemed like forever before the day was actually gonna arrive.

Oh. Some of us volunteered to help out in this huge event. There you go. :) And honestly, what an eye opener it was man. So much that I've learnt along the way. And of cus, we get to catch the concert every now and then too.

Even though I had work today, was literally dragging myself out of my bed to get ready for work at 7.30am, I would have went through all that yesterday again anytime man.

I mean like, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to be learn/help out with a world class act like Switchfoot! Why not right? :) Especially if you think that their musics' good. Hah.

Messing around before the actual work starts! Hah!

And before the actual thing actually begins, there was a media press conference kinda thing! It was kinda cool since I've never actually witness one myself. Hah.

And then after quite a long wait, with all the delays and stuff, the concert kicked off! Too bad I was kinda outside helping out and working still when the first band played. Couldn't take a picture of The Calling of Levi(First opening act) in action! O wells.

The second opening act goes to the local band, Great Spy Experiment.

And it wasn't too long before the main event came into play.

I thought that it was awesome. Love the way Jon Foreman engaged with the crowd. Couldn't really hear what he was talking though, since i was away from the speakers and all. But it was definitely good la. I mean, how can it not be good when people were screaming and cheering deafeningly right?

So after about an hour thirty mins plus or so, It finally ended! Hah. Good show good show.

Today, I am meditating on this, as I prepare for a long day ahead volunteering for Switchfoot concert!

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost"

He came to save, not to destroy. He came to give life, not to take them. He came to deliver us, not to lead us astray.

Bottomline is, He saves. :)

And so, I started working at Barclays Capital since the last thurs! Interesting company I might add. Too busy in fact, with their endless workload and stuff, but definitely an eye opener in terms of seeing and learning so much stuff from a bank.

The best part is, they allow their temp staff(myself) to have their own personal barclays capital email account and windows login! It kinda makes me feel like I'm part of them already, even thought I'll only be with them for about a month plus!

Another interesting thing I noticed is the fact that they practice the whole open concert style of a workplace. I would have NEVER know that the last person in the role of desk is the director of my department, if not for a colleague's sharing. He looks as ordinary as us. Okay perhaps, with the tie and all being the only difference.

But the fact that he sits with us shows how open concept this company is! Hah. Now I feel like taking a nice picture of my workplace, just so I can post it up here. O wells!

The awesome weekend.

The past weekend has really been one awesome weekend man. Not just because it started on Friday, but it really was so so good!

Somehow as I'm typing this, I'm reminded of Rebecca Black's Friday. Gosh. This is not happening, Jesus.

Anyway, one big reason why this weekend is so good is prolly because yesterday was RESURRECTION SUNDAY! The day where Jesus conquered death once and for all. The day where Jesus rose from the grave, and declare that victory is ours to claim already. EASTER SUNDAY!

I always like Easter sundays. It brings such joy and warmth knowing that because of this day, believers and saved ones like us have all the right to be happy and blessed, just because of His finished work. :)

And then there's the flea market sale on Saturday, as well as the really good times at Nic's place celebrating Good Friday, accompanied by good food and amazing people that I love. :)

So I randomly took this picture on sunday and then the rest wanted one as well. Hah! O wells.

Happy Easter day everyone.

Once again, I am reminded of how we even had this day to begin with. I was with the caregroup last night and we watched The Passion of the Christ all over again.

I have probably watched this show at least 3 times so far, but each time I watch it, it gives me a whole fresh personal revelation of HOW much Jesus loves me. How much pain He went through, just to secure that bright future of mine. How much torturing He went through, just to get me healed from ALL the diseases in this world.

It's unbelievable man. The pain that He went through is just beyond human. In fact, I remember Mel Gibson, the director of that show, mention that what he is protraying in that film of his, is probably not even 1/2 of what the real deal is!

Such Love of God.

This is the reason why we are healed today.
This is the reason why we are the righteousness of God today.
This is the reason why we have every reason to expect the best future ahead.
This is the reason why we are so blessed in this life.
And the list goes on.

So, Easter day. Today, 2011 years ago. Christ died on that cross. So that we might be saved. He died for our sins. My sins. Your sins. The true meaning of Easter isn't so much about the eggs and the gifts and the egg hunt game.

It's about remembering HIM on that cross.

It's really beyond words, the Love of God for you and me. One can never describe it with words. You got to experience it to feel it.

So today, I give thanks for the fact that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. We totally DO NOT deserve to be forgiven, but He still did for us anyway. That's the Grace of God my friend.
We do not deserve it. That's why we get it.

Once again, Happy Easter day everyone. Let's truly remember the real meaning behind Easter day. Let's remember Jesus Christ. Amen.

New workplace.

Can't believe that I am actually starting work again tomorrow! I mean like, yes. I wanted a job after my previous one with J.D. Power Asia but... I was kinda expecting it to only commence on Monday I suppose. Since Friday is a public holiday and all... But nah. It's starting tomorrow!

Barclays? Yup. That's the bank name. Probably an Admin job. No idea yet since Recruit Express hasn't really told me much yet. Gotta head down there to sign my contract at 8.30am tomorrow! A One month job. Till May 19th? Extendable though.

Favor Favor for tomorrow! You are with me Lord, and I know that with You around, things can only be awesome. :)

The weekend in the House of the Lord!

Like what Evan has said, weekends spent in the House of the Lord is ALWAYS refreshing and somehow or another, it gives you life and it brings the best out of your weekend.

I'm so glad that my weekends are spent in church. Doing things that I like. Hanging out with the coolest people in the world. People whom I have kingdom friendships with that will last a life time.

Oh and an additional point, it's my last time serving with the youth choir! Bittersweet feeling I guess, since it's the first ministry that I've joined in, into Worship ministry. But I know that God has so much more in store for me in my current area of serving. Gonna be faithful to it by the Grace of God. Only God can. I can't do it by myself. :)

I wonder why did I only take one shot for my last serving on youth choir. Hah. O wells!

And as for today, or rather, for this coming week, I know that ALL THINGS will work out for good for those who are in Christ(Romans 828). So my week ahead is gonna be awesome and somehow or another, A splendid job offer will come and I'll have the most flexible one of them all.

I always like reading the messahe bible in the morning. :)

"Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ."

A pure gift. Salvation is a gift, folks. Sometimes I have no idea why people make it so difficult to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Why make it so difficult when... it's actually SO easy!?

It's always so refreshing to read His word right at the start of the day. It's like... engraving the path ahead kinda thing? Since our tongue and words hold power to what our natural circumstances might be.

I proclaim for anyone who read this that, today's gonna be a good day. Simply because you are loved by the King of kings and the Lord of lords. His name is Jesus Christ. Amen.

Sending Tryphena off to Seoul, Korea!

Tryphena always wanted to go to Seoul, Korea for a holiday. The Lord made it come to past and currently, she's there with her mum for a holiday. :) To go visit all the Kpop places that she wants to go. To shop there and buy all the face products/clothes/caps/fashion accessories. To take pictures of the amazing Korea and return to Singapore and show us. :)

Our God is oh so faithful. He makes all things new and all things work together for our good. Can't help but smile each time I think of His faithfulness. Amazing.

We were still early and stuff before Try and her mum had to check in. So it was just sitting around and chatting.... Until we decided to do this.

And so, the contract's finally up. Gotta leave. No choice. Haha. It seems like yesterday that I just started work only! O wells.

But it's been one good journey there I tell you. Much I have learnt and experience. All the reports and excel sheets and formats that I've done. One thing's for sure, I walked into that place without ANY knowledge of how a big company like them would function and work.

But now I walk out having so much more experience and knowledge on companies like these. :) Praise God.

I was reading Cherri's blog and got reminded of something so simple, yet oh so powerful that pastor dan shared earlier at the booth!

Sometimes the best thing one can do is really to just remind them that God really loves them. No matter how bad the situation is, or how terrible it is, remind people that God loves them. So I got myself a new geeky specs. I know right. It's probably my 87192873918723 pair already. Haha. But I always seem to like the different shapes and designs.

But somehow or another, It is ALWAYS falling down my nose bridge area! Argh. I need a solution to this. Anyone?

And today, Gavin blessed me with this really awesome ice chocolate! Man. Seriously. It's really good.

It's those kind that you know... when you drink it, you can't help but taste the richness of the chocolate, followed by the pure feeling of the milk!? Haha! Okay nvm.

And so, today I learn something quite strange. I learn that there is actually an animal that is called, booby. Haha. That is actually the name of the animal! I kid you not.

You can go google blue-footed boobies. They have so many pictures there. I think they are really cute. It's like a mini penguin kinda thing, just that it's with 2 rather big blue coloured foot! Haha.

And base on OMGfacts from twitter, these small little birds keep they eggs warm by using those blue feets! Hah. So cute these animals.

Our God is really a creative and interesting God. :)

I like reading the message bible. Though sometimes it can be really long and detailed, but because it's long and detailed, it speaks of so much meaning and truth in it. :)

On the side note... I don't like the blogger upload of pictures. Why is it that after I upload it, I can't seem to type anymore text at the bottom of the entry! Argh!

Either that or the words just get messed up. Appearing in anywhere and everywhere.

I really hope they fix this. Amen.

From Sunday morning till yesterday, Flu and cold has gotten the better of me. I have a nose almost as red as a baboon's ass. There is never a moment where I am seen without a tissue paper standby-ing. I think I might have used at least 2 tissue boxes worth of tissue papers. Haha. I think yesterday, Suntec must have been lacking of tissue papers man. It all went to me. :D

So there I was, at 3rd service. Before the service starts, I thought that it was gonna be a really "bad" service. Like you know, sneeze here and there. Everywhere.

But there is just something about being in the house of the Lord. Once I stepped in there, even though the feeling did not subside, there is never ONCE I actually sneezed during the entire service! Wow.

I remember when I took the Holy Communion, I declared out loud that I am the healed. I really am. Christ did not die on the cross for me, just to miss out flu or cold. Surely He has bore it on the cross as well. So I insisted that I am the healed, and that even though I am still feeling like crap, I CONTINUED believing that I am the healed.

Somehow, I feel better after that. :) The power of confessing and right believing eh.

So yesterday came and I felt alot better. :) Even had the strength to go down to Holland Village for a good time with Nic, Rach and Steve! Hah. EVEN HAD ICE CREAM! ;)

I love weekends in the house of the Lord. It just brings so much life despite the tiredness thereafter each long day. But I'd still say it's worth it man. :)

Oh. The best part is... It starts on Friday. :)

Biblegateway verse of the day!

Ever since I started working for this company, I've never failed to just open the internet explorer and access to biblegateway! My little quiet time perhaps, since the office practically have nobody until say... 10 plus? Hah. All the latecomers. As usual.

And since biblegateway has a verse of the day for each day, I took it upon myself that, THAT shall be the verse to meditate on each day. :) More often than other, it has always been the verse that speaks right into my heart and soul. Like each time I feel arghhh about something, somehow the verse of the day speaks into my life and it makes me feel better. :)

So... Yeah. My little quiet time that keeps me going each morning.

Here is today's verse from Isaiah 53:3-4. Thought it was powerful man.

"The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling, a scrubby plant in a parched field. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing to cause us to take a second look. He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at him and people turned away. We looked down on him, thought he was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains he carried— our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought he brought it on himself, that God was punishing him for his own failures. But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed. We're all like sheep who've wandered off and gotten lost. We've all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our sins, everything we've done wrong, on him, on him"
